Dana E. Tatum, Ph.D., MA, LPC, CCHP has spent the past 32 years working in the correctional environment as a clinician, treatment innovator, advocate and trainer in all areas of correctional and forensic psychology. Dr. Tatum is a nationally known lecturer, consultant and trainer to medical and graduate students, behavioral health clinicians, law enforcement, and correctional officers within Jails, Prisons and Forensic Treatment facilities. As part of his consultation experience, he has helped develop policies and procedures that promote not only the appropriate, ethical care for the mentally ill within the criminal justice system, but also the creation of Standard Operating Procedures within correctional facilities that insure the safety of both staff and patients.
