Ms. Balogh has a unique combination of research and industry experience. Her research background includes studying typical and perturbed patterns of postural and gait initiation and computational biomechanics of the human finger. Her experience in industry includes working with product development and the testing of medical manufacturing machine products and has contributed to a variety of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs primarily geared towards safety/survivability technology for the military. Mr. Balogh’s education, research, and industry experience combined with her competitive history as an elite athlete, provide a thorough understanding of human biomechanics and kinematics.
Ms. Balogh holds a M.Sc. Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.
