Penny Pio, one of our senior managers, has been with Exigent since the beginning, which is 12 years. She tells us about her experience here.

Over the years, the legal outsourcing market has changed and we at Exigent keep our fingers on the pulse of what’s happening in our industry, globally. In many cases, this sets us apart from our competitors. We don’t want to become dinosaurs in our industry, rather be drummers, drumming up ideas, solutions and services that help our clients drive their business forward.
We have always been proactive and review our business model to suit and anticipate our clients’ needs. We are continually looking for ways to improve the services we offer our clients to make life easier for them. We started by approaching the market from an outsourcing platform and have since evolved to more of a partnership approach with our clients.
A few milestones over the years: In 2003, Exigent opened its doors selling document production services to law firms in the UK. In 2005, our client base included the Australian market with the opening of our office in Perth. 2009 saw the birth of the Exigent Legal Services Division. The following year saw a demand for graphic design and desktop publishing and Exigent opened its Creative doors. In 2013, Exigent Shared Services grew into Exigent Virtual Support (EVS) – again staying with market trends and behaviors.
